Leica Q2 Disney “100 Years of Wonder” camera celebrates the film studios’ anniversary » Gadget Flow

In fact, its design comes from a 1937 idea on a model sheet by Don Towsley, a Walt Disney Studio animator. Not only that, but it also has a Mickey Mouse print on the camera’s top plate. Furthermore, this limited edition comes with a protective dust bag that has matching Disney graphics and a rope strap. Since the early days of animation, Disney has used Leica cameras and projectors to create cartoon storyboards. That’s where this collaboration comes from, and the camera is wrapped in a special material. Somewhat like tracing paper, it’s reminiscent of what creators use to draw scenes and characters.
